How to Apply SSC One Time Registration (OTR) Online Form 2025

• SSC issued a notice on 22 February 2024 stating that a new website ssc.gov.in has been launched and all candidates must complete fresh One Time Registration on this portal.
• Step 1 : Open the official website ssc.gov.in or use the direct link given in Some Useful Important Links section.
• Step 2 : Click on the New Registration tab in the candidate portal.
• Step 3 : Enter basic information:
  – Candidate’s Name
  – Father’s Name
  – Mother’s Name
  – Mobile Number
  – Email ID
  – High School Class 10 Roll Number, Board and Year of Passing
• Step 4 : Verify your OTR profile details carefully and submit registration.
• Step 5 : An OTP will be sent to the registered Email ID and Mobile Number. Enter both OTPs to verify.
• Step 6 : After OTP verification, Part-I registration will be completed and your SSC OTR Registration Number will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 7 : A default password will be sent on your registered email. Use Registration Number and default password to login for the first time.
• Step 8 : On first login, you will be asked to change the default password. Create your own strong password using uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters (minimum 8 characters).
• Step 9 : Select two security questions and their answers. These will help you recover your account in case you forget the password in future.
• Step 10 : Login again with Registration Number and new password. Now fill additional details like:
  – Nationality
  – Category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS etc.)
  – Visible Identification Mark
  – Permanent Address and Present/Local Address
  – Aadhaar Number or other valid ID details (as required for Aadhaar Enabled OTR)
• Step 11 : Click on Preview OTR. Double check all personal, contact, ID, and address details. If there is any error, correct it. If all is correct, tick the declaration and submit the OTR form finally.
• Step 12 : SSC OTR registration process is now complete. Candidates can login to their SSC Dashboard on ssc.gov.in to:
  – Apply for any new SSC recruitment
  – Check application status
  – Download admit card
  – View exam results and other updates.
