Sahara Refund Portal – Claim Form Eligibility 2023

• Citizens who had deposited money in the Sahara Group cooperative societies and have not received their money yet are eligible to fill the online claim form.
• Eligible cooperative societies:
  1. Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow
  2. Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal
  3. Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata
  4. Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad

Sahara Refund Portal – Details 2023

• Hon’ble Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah launched the Sahara Refund Portal on 18 July 2023.
• Any citizen who applies online on Sahara Refund Portal will get their eligible refund amount directly in their bank account, generally within 45 days (as per portal guidelines and verification).
• Applicants will receive status updates of their claim through SMS from time to time and can also check status online on the Sahara Refund Portal website.
• The portal has been created by Government of India on the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court for refund of money deposited with the above Sahara Group cooperative societies.

How to Fill Sahara Refund Portal Online Claim Form 2023

• Open the official website of Sahara Refund Portal: mocrefund.crcs.gov.in (direct links given in Some Useful Important Links section).
• Step 1 – Depositor Registration:
  Click on “Depositor Registration”. Enter the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar Number and your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, then complete OTP verification to register on the portal.
• Step 2 – Depositor Login:
  After registration, click on “Depositor Login”. Enter the last 4 digits of Aadhaar and registered mobile number, then verify with OTP to log in.
• Step 3 – Fill Personal Information:
  After login and OTP verification, fill your personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Aadhaar-seeded bank account details and other required information.
• Step 4 – Enter Claim & Upload Documents:
  Update complete details of your deposited money – society name, membership number, receipt number, deposit amount, period of deposit, and upload supporting documents / proofs of deposit. PAN may be required if the total claim amount exceeds the specified limit.
• Step 5 – Generate & Upload Claim Request Form:
  After entering all claim details, submit the information to generate the Claim Request Form. Download and print this form, affix your latest photograph, sign it, and then scan and upload the duly filled form along with photo/signature and other required information on the portal.
• After successful submission, an acknowledgment / application number will be generated. Keep it safe and track your refund status using this number on the portal.
